It was suppose to be farewell party for the seniors but only me turned up for it... Hai... it looked more like a gathering of the great-grandsenior with Miss Tan...

Christmas Eve Class Gathering

Christmas Eve...

03S20 "pests" gathered at Marina Bay for a night of fun and army humour. A few of my classmates: Shuk Yi, Tian Cai, Ed. Z, and Fu Min ( the cold one ) were out of army to celebrate Chirstmas...

Lotsa funny stories about army days and not forgetting Korpen, our class mascort, who entered the army with the gang...

Korpen is the KING of the platoon? company?....

He is the Sergeant's pet...

Shuk Yi.... Out from the army for Chirstmas

Hmm... Still the same old Shuk Yi... no difference

This is a creative photograph made from my digital camera...

Chee Hao... Enjoying his free ice-cream

Bangla?? Stop... Police!

Woah... Having steam boat...

Everything ended with stomachs full and there wasn't much fun after that... Orchard was too crowded to go, impossible to get tickets for Kung Fu Hustle...

Sigh... what to do but to go home...

Nikon Coolpix 3700

Hurray!!! I finally convinced my mother to allow me to buy a digital camera. Nikon Coolpix 3700 is the model.

* Supporter of Nikon products *

I saw the camera on the Nikon advertisment on newspaper and that's it, I WANT THAT!! So I did.

Went down to Cathy Photo shop at Penisular Plaza ( "my favourite shop" ) to get the camera.

Yes! And there we have it... a digital camera.

In case for those of you intending to get one, Nikon, like other brand, is having a Chirstmas promotion. Do check out stores at Funan or PP or even the newspapers. The camera I bought cost $399. Usual price was $549. Worth buying since its the Christmas season.

But my mother and brother said that the camera is small.

Hahahahahahahaha...

To work or not to work?

*yawn*

Its seems that working or Not working has got its own low points...

I'm very bored right now since I don't have my shift at 7-Eleven today. Nothing to do at home, now's not a good timing to go anywhere.... WHAT TO DO? My parrot is just behind me somewhere talking to itself. Maybe I'll just finish this up and grab a bread and watch KIDS CENTRAL.

"Ai yo!" That's what my parrot just said.

However, working can be tiring especially working at 7-Eleven. I practically have to do everything: Sales, cashier, stock up, household chores... It's tiring running around the store when there is no customers. Sometimes, I get really stressed up counting $$$ during changing of shifts... *sigh* cannot count $ quick and accurate...

hmmmm.... I don't know what to write...

Working Life

I started my work as a part timer @ 7-Eleven yesterday. No doubt that the pay is low @ $3.50 / hour, but I find that this could be just the starting to allow me get the feel of the working world. Since this is my FIRST job from the time I was born, I think that I should be doing something "SIMPLE". Wah la, here comes 7-Eleven ( It's a store and more ) recommended by Xinyi...

My friends think that the salary is toooooo low!!! Well, I think that $ here is not so much of a matter. I don't mind working in an office, but how much can you learnt? Typing? Accounting? Photocopying? Filing? Its mainly about admin work. However at 7-Eleven, I learnt lots of different things: cashiering, accounting at the end of the shifts, housekeeping, opperating machines, stock up,working as a team...

Sometimes it gets bore doing stock ups and at times with no customers. The worst time comes when I'm about to change shift!!! MONEY COUNTING TIME!!! Everyone is afraid of counting money during the change over time... Especially when $ gets MISSING, they deduct from your salary *sob sob*. Nothing happens to excess cash. The problem lies with $ shortage. As a trainee with only 2 days of experience, the boss closes 2 eyes. I hope that nothing will go wrong from tomorrow onwards cos I don't want my pay to be deducted...

*sigh* I'm so tired....

PROM NIGHT!!!!!

So... the long awaited PoRm Night 2004 is finally over @ Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore. It was a fun filled night with lots of pretty ladies, handsome hunks, and not forgetting lots of photo taking going on and on and on and on... What's fun is the emcee for the night, a DJ from Class 95. He was indeed a funny compare, with many ways to keep the whole room in suspension from the progress of the Singapore Idol. WOW! Furthermore, with the funny game which he says:" 2 smart fellowers, they felt smart.", and each contestant is suppose to repeat with an increase in the number. [ 3 smart fellowers, they felt smart ] Hahaha... in the end, the ladies won. GIRLS POWER!!

Lucky draw was exciting, with fabulous gifts ranging from gift vouchers to an Apple iPod. Wow! I was eyeing for that iPod, and it when to the number 058. I was 018. Then came the top 3 winners for the prom king and one of them was RODNEY! [ the handsome one? ] Such a coincident that with Taufik as the Singapore Idol, Taufiq became the TPJC Idol as he was announced as the prom king.

The whole prom ened @ about 11pm+ with more photo taking after that. I finally persuaded Benita to buy me a flower. Thank You BENITA!

But the fun has not ended, I went back to the hotel room and I changed for another round of fun at a pub [ xueli's friend's ]. My first time trying Vodka Lime. It wasn't very strong and it tasted like lime juice. Later i played tai di and drank one cup of Vodka with rebiena.

It all ended at 3+ in the morning with Shou Zhi and Tian Cai drunk.

They kept on saying that 我没有醉 ( i'm not drunk ). Hai...

When to bathe and slept at about 4+am. What's more, Chee Hao and Fu Min were eating cup noodles beside me... HUNGER!

The day finally ended as we packed our belongings and checked out of the hotel at 8am. Birthda cake wasn't cut and Peng Wee ( birthday bot ) had to bring it back...

It slepping after i got back home. ZZzzzz......

'A' Level is over!!!!!

Oh yes!!!!!! Finally, all the hard work is done over with. I will be taking the LAST paper in the 'A' Level syllabus ( pronounced as 'air' level ) today @ 2pm. Hahaha... its the Physics design question paper. Is there a need to study??

Tian Cai said:" Who ever study for study for today's paper will get beaten..."

Hahahah.....

Ok, after the paper.. its PARTY time !!!!

Hmm, an analysis of yesterday's paper:

Physics paper 3 - Generally able to do, although can't remember the correct definition for some but still have some idea. Fluid was a bit of problem... No buoyancy, no metacentre, no Bernouill equation, no ball spinning. Came out: " define incompressable, non-turbulent, streamline fluid... terminal velocity... etc "

F. Maths paper 2 - Think its on the average side, mechanics still doing ok, statistics rather tricky with that regression question ( i attempted it ). But, what was disturbing was that the statistics section had both geometric and negative exponential questions, which also everyone was practically weak at. Well, at least the geometric one wasn't so bad, and like what Mrs Tay said, the negative exp. question was that we couldn't understand the concept...

Generally, I'm satisfied with my answers.

Yeh!!!!!!

Olinda is OUT!!!!!

*Sob, sob*

I can't believe that Olinda is out of the Singapore Idol. I dare admit that I fell in love with Oli's "manly" voice after the first time I heard her sing:

" When my rimba rhythm start to sway

Dance with me

Make we sway... "

Wow!!! Oli has got a good voice.

Too bad, she lacks the popularity which Sly and Taufik had.

Nevermind, now Oli is out... my support goes to Taufik ( of course ).

Come to think of it, both of them were given a second chance to compete in the Singapore Idol. I think that Taufik deserves the Singapore Idol title. He has indeed put in lots of effort in his singing.

" I get the energy from the crowd..... the more crowd there is, the more energy I get..." that's what he said in today's morning show.

Well.... there goes Oli...

GO Taufik!!!

PROGRESS!!!!

FINALLY!!! I managed to fit a few sections into the sidebar... Ain't me great??

But still, i can't add another blog into my account. WHY???

tODAY's weather: VERY windy...

mY mOOd: rather HAPPY, cos only got 3 more papers left ( or rather 2 papers left )

Hmm... it seems that I am starting to miss all the various photog sessions I used to have [ with Franics or Mr Choong ]. Well, photog is fun with all the "weird" people in there..... Ben Ting's obession with the bracket's ring... Tong with his girlfriend called Princess always hanky panky... BENita, who likes to use the photog room always...Miss Tan, whose chocolate got eaten up by her "STUDENT"... Miss Yan and her trip to EGYPT soon...

Everything here in Photography Club is Fun!!!!

Physics Paper 1 & 2 ( Follow up )

Hmm... Today's paper wasn't so bad afterall. At least somewhat better than what I had in the Prelims. It seems that the examiners like to set questions on " state the value of...... [ 1 ] ". This kind of questions are indeed easy. So easy that it would be 50/50 chance of getting them right. No method marks, no... , only answer marks. Furthermore... they asked some funny questions in the Data Anlyasis section which i heard from a number of people that they weren't sure of the answers... Is that good or bad??

For the first time, I was able to answer all the questions in Paper 2. Yeh!!!! Though some answers may not be totally correct.

Well, at least that shows that I know majority of my contents. :)

Paper 1 was quite ok except two questions which I wasn't sure of the working...

Overall, I rate the both papers as manageable. It's not that bad as you might have thought of it to be.

Maybe the examiners are out to kill in Paper 3???

加油!!!

Physics Paper 1 & 2 tomorrow!!!

Arrgh.... physics paper is tomorrow and i am now not in the mood to study for it!! HOW???????

HOW???????

HOW???????

Ok... relax... relaxing...

STUDY!!!!!!!

MRS FOONG!!!!!!!! Hahahahahahaha

Mrs Foong and the class of 03s20.

Though not the whole class is here. [ Including me :( ]

Teacher's name: Mrs Foong-Hor Lee Har.

Subject teaching: Further Mathematics.

Area specialty: Mechanics.

Commonly seen: At benches with lots of students queueing up to ask her Mechanics questions.

Danger: Catching students skipping FM classes/lectures... hai...

Mrs Foong is my favourite teacher as she is the best teacher of all. Never fails to explain your questions in details, she tries to change the way of explaining if you STILL don't understand. Although the boys in my class always get nagged by her, but the nagging still come to good use when it comes to BIG exams.

She is the best teacher indeed...Posted by Hello
